Champlain Maternal Newborn Regional Program

The Breastfeeding Community of Practice (CoP) is comprised of leaders and subject matter experts from the Eastern region who have come together to share successes and challenges, and to engage in a process of collective learning in support of the region’s strategic priorities. Members have a common sense of purpose and desire to work together to share knowledge, cultivate best practices and foster innovation pertaining to breastfeeding/chestfeeding and perinatal and newborn health service delivery.

The purpose of the Breastfeeding CoP is to protect, promote and support breastfeeding in the region. We envision a future where breastfeeding and chestfeeding is the cultural norm.
